Italian Motorcycle Maker Ducati Launches A Duo of Footwear Collaborations For Fall
The company has partnered with Itlaly-based Fiorentini + Baker and Australian brand Blundstone, for two capsule collections inspired by its iconic bike designs.
Fiorentini + Baker is infusing its vintage feel for a collection of winter boots and sneakers for men and women under the Fiorentini + Baker X Ducati Motorcycles label. As inspiration for the collection, it shared its archives with Fiorentini + Baker’s founder Deborah Baker, in order to translate the design details of the bikes to footwear. Boots feature classic biker touches such a padded front joints reminiscent of racing boots.
The collection will be available form October in Fiorentini + Baker stores in Bologna, London, New York and Los Angeles, as well as in select high-end boutiques globally. Retail prices range from $380 to $740.
Debuting in September, Blundstone is collaborating on a series of looks inspired by the Ducati Scrambler, a new brand from Ducati inspired by the bikes roots in the 1970s, and set to make its debut once again this fall.
The Blundstone 800 boot is available in brown with olive elastic goring, for a fresh take on the iconic silhouette, and a nod to the color scheme of the Scrambler. The unisex boot will be available in a limited run of 3,000 pairs and sold through select retailers including Blundstone.com.
A national campaign surrounding a Scrambler giveaway will launch September 1. Consumers will have the chance to participate via Blundstone’s social media sites.
