Magista - the latest shoe in Nike’s, Coming Soon to Indian Market
Knitted boots appear to be latest big thing in sport with Nike having already used their FlyKnit technology in the signature shoes of LA Lakers icon Kobe Bryant, while adidas having recently unveiled their own football version.
“Yarns and fabric variations are precisely engineered only where they are needed for a featherweight, formfitting and virtually seamless upper,” is what Nike have to say on FlyKnit, and it has clearly been such a success that they are ready to roll it out across the board.
You can already buy running shoes using this technology, while Bryant’s brand was the most notable on the Nike roster to first utilise it, and now FlyKnit will reach the widest audience possible in sport when they take it to the World Cup this summer.
The Magista resembles Kobe 9 Elite in that it is the first ever ‘high-top’ style football boot, using a mesh type material to cover the ankle and make the shoe feel even more comfortable, allowing players to exact more control over the ball.
Andres Iniesta, who scored the goal to win the FIFA showpiece for Spain four years ago, will wear the Magista - and headlined the official launch in Barcelona - while Mario Gotze, Thiago Silva, David Luiz and many notable others will also be lacing up in Brazil.
